Trumpet pods are long narrow pods that are an excellent choice to aid in creating a more tropical feel to your terrarium. Not only does it add aesthetics to your terrarium, but as these slowly decay they also provide a great food source for microfauna living in your tank. These pods are great to add in with any animal in a terrarium. Thumbnail frogs particularly enjoy these as they can hide inside of them. Many other larger frogs will frequently visit them to find a quick snack of some microfauna.
The trumpet pods are a natural product and can vary in size, shape, and color. Please see the photo to see the possible shapes that you may receive. Sizes can vary from 3/4" - 2" in diameter, and 3-5" in length. Sold Individually.
